Metsä – The Forest Project is a moving nature trail performance where circus artists Henna Kaikula and Viivi Roiha study the relationship with nature through movement. Nature is the significant third performer which shapes the performance by each forest. The audience gets to experience a unique performance every time.

Metsä – The Forest Project is a circus performance built by the nature trails. While the performers lead the audience to the shadows of the forest, the audience get to experience air acrobatics on tree tops, pair acrobatics and humming ambient sounds.

The performance also offers time to experience the sense of leisure in the arms of nature, connection and shared calmness. By building a circus performance in the forest the artists aim to strengthen people’s relationship with nature and heal the wounds from alienation from nature.

Viivi Roiha and Henna Kaikula are Finnish circus performers who have gained worldwide success. Their path in circus arts has lasted for decades.
