Puppet theatre: Pessi and Illusia
A fairytale written by Finnish author Yrjö Kokko, Pessi and Illusia has charmed children and adults alike for over 70 years. The love story between Illusia, a fairy, and Pessi, a troll, is an ode to nature and friendship. The story is brought to life in Juha Laukkanen’s puppet theatre performance.
Puppet Theatre Sytkyt is the touring professional theater company of Juha Laukkanen and theatre technician Arto Ollikainen. The company was founded 30 years ago and today travels both in Finland and abroad.
