Hurja Halla is a contemporary folk music duo from Joensuu, whose open-minded music draws from the nature and myths of the north. The sound of ethnic wind instruments, cello and human voices takes the listener on a journey to the forests of the north. The personal band's repertoire consists of its own songs, the moods of which vary from wistful moods to fierce, trance-like pedaling.

The duo released their acclaimed debut album Riitti in January 2022. After the release, the album's music has been played on radio channels around the world, also receiving international attention. The group consists of two multi-instrumentalists: Liisa Haapase and Janne Ojajärvi. In their music, the duo uses cello, harmonica, bagpipes, flutes, percussion and the human voice.

Susi Nousiainen is a visual artist and writer born in Tampere, whose roots are in Lappeenranta and Kerimäki. His debut poetry collection Muovikauris (Raikuu, 2021) deals with the transformation of nature, people and social codes. Nousiainen reads his poems set in a forest and a lake.

Hytermä's nature poetry tour is produced by Jonna Nihkee Akka Nummela in cooperation with SINFF. The tour is organized by Viitapiiri ry together with local actors and is supported by the Art Promotion Center.
